The game invites players to "take to the skies on a one-way trip to adventure," following the story of Barry Steakfries, who breaks into a secret lab to free experimental jetpacks from evil scientists, causing plenty of mayhem in the process.

Besides the standard Machine Gun Jetpack, players can collect a ton of other gear, from upgraded jetpacks to new outfits and collectible items. Jetpack Joyride also gives players plenty of reason to keep playing with competitive online leaderboards and unlockable achievements.

Besides a fun, addictive gameplay dynamic and heaps of action, Jetpack Joyride has great visuals. While its art style is cartoonish, it fits perfectly with the game's overall feeling and offers a consistent visual experience.

  

To check for tablet compatibility, we have installed Jetpack Joyride on a Transformer Pad 300. On this 10" tablet, it ran just fine, though the graphics did get a little blocky. It's quite possible that Halfbrick will be releasing an HD version with higher quality textures optimized for tablets.
